So a normal day for Dallas and Mommy. We are in the car preparing to go into Babies'r'us/ Toys r us. When Dallas and i notice the van parked in front of us had a cute little boy Pretend Driving (what dallas would call it the "vroooom Vroom")van. It caught my attention after 2 min or so like where is the mom or dad????? So i got really nervis and just with a mothers natural instink i investigated, and got out of my van and walked to the little boy in the car looking in the window to only see 2 more children (boys) under the age of 1 years (the car seats were rear facing)! I COULDNT BELIEVE IT! It seriously had been like 10 min. that have past that i was even suspecious?! WHAT DO YOU DO???? the little boy in the drivers seat couldnt have been any older than 3 1/2 years! I didnt want to leave them alone, so I called 911! The lady on the Phone was very nice and had me read her the plate number, and give her more details, car discription.... and so on (about another 7 min have passed)! We are still talking and from this moment this mom left her kids alone for at least 20 min. that we know of! Turns out while I was on the phone still with 911 waiting for police to show. The MOM comes out of the store from shopping! Police still not here but about 1 min away.
Turns out the police Si-tated her, and she addmited her carless behavior!!!
What would have you done? ...I never really before today gave it much thought!!
-what if i was a bad guy?
-what if the little boy left the van, and started wondering around the parking lot?...Which infact was right off a major busy street?
-what if it where hot outside?
Turns out police said I did the very right thing (it being not over 60-65 degrees outside)! The inside of a car can get up to 30 degress hotter than the outside temp!
If this ever happens to you experts say, if a child is locked in a car, no parents around you call 911 and or at the same time go to the furthest window from child/ baby and bust it open for health saftey reasons!!

You did EXACTLY the right thing. It was just coincidence the mother came when she did. She might have stayed even longer. My guess is she won't ever do it again. And if she does, and gets caught, maybe that time wouldn't be a simple warning. Way to go.
Way to go Kimmie! That women just knows that she will now never do that again!! Which is a very good thing!
Kimmie - you're so good. Did the mom see you or know that you had called? Now that would be awkward! Good job looking after the kids - not everyone does!
Hi Kimmie its Toni :) I had come up on a similiar situation the other day however another person had noticed and called the cops first, but I definetely would of done the same thing. Also Your Looking adorable congrats on the baby boy, its been forever since I've talked to you.
